The Colombo Ice Company (Pvt) Ltd., under flag ship brand Elephant house, is a state-of-the-art ice cream factory and the newest ice cream manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka considered one of the most modern and sophisticated in Asia. Developed for the production of Impulse ice cream, the factory is located on a 9.5-acre land in Seethawaka Export processing Zone, Avissawella, in Sri Lanka.
In order to be at this high level the facility includes a complete Hygiene room with Elpress equipment ranging from Turnstile Disinfection entrances, food grade contactless sinks with Dyson Air Tap, a Combi-Hand Disinfection entrance with sole cleaning. All equipment are HACCP accredited and maintained to the highest of hygiene standards.
